Who would have thought that a homemaker’s heart would find its calling in the bustling world of architecture and design? For me, it was a journey of unexpected twists and turns, leading to a fulfilling career as the driving force behind STED – ArchBuild.
I’ve always had an eye for aesthetics, a knack for transforming spaces. My years as a homemaker were, in a way, a training ground. I honed my skills in creating functional and beautiful environments, understanding the nuances of how people interact with their surroundings. Little did I know that these skills would become the foundation of my professional life.
Stepping into the corporate world in 2017 was a bold move. But with unwavering determination and the support of my family, especially my husband, who is the MD of STED – ArchBuild, I dived in headfirst. Building a strong brand like STED – ArchBuild has been a collaborative effort, but my role in business development has been instrumental in shaping our growth trajectory.
I believe women bring a unique perspective to leadership. Our ability to multitask, empathize, and build relationships is a powerful combination in the business world. At STED – ArchBuild, we’ve successfully blended design aesthetics with business acumen, creating spaces that not only look stunning but also enhance productivity and reflect our clients’ brand identity.
The world of design is constantly evolving. New technologies, trends, and client preferences keep us on our toes. I’m excited about the future of design and the opportunities it holds for innovation. We’re committed to staying at the forefront of the industry by embracing new technologies while staying true to our design philosophy.
Mentoring young designers is another passion of mine. I believe in nurturing talent and creating a platform for the next generation of designers. Sharing my knowledge and experience is a fulfilling way to give back to the industry.
My journey from homemaker to design powerhouse has been extraordinary. I’ve faced challenges, but every hurdle has made me stronger. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved at STED – ArchBuild, and I’m excited to see where the future takes us.
