Welcome to BUG Voices, our dedicated space where inspiring people share their stories to uplift and empower others. In each guest blog, we bring you the stories by remarkable individuals who have defied the odds and pursued their passions.

I’ve always been drawn to the world of education. The thought of shaping young minds, nurturing their potential, and guiding them towards a brighter future has been a constant source of inspiration. It’s an incredible privilege to be part of such a meaningful profession.

My journey began at UNFPA, where I served as a program head in 2010. This experience solidified my passion for education and social development. Today, as the director of Little Kingdom Senior Secondary Academy, I strive to create a learning environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning.

At Little Kingdom, we believe that education is more than just academics. It’s about nurturing the whole child—their intellectual, emotional, and social development. We’ve implemented innovative initiatives, such as STEM labs, to make learning engaging and relevant to the world around them. Our focus on gender neutrality and creating a safe, inclusive space for all students is another key aspect of our approach.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is witnessing the growth and success of our students. Seeing them develop into confident, compassionate individuals is a testament to the power of education. It’s also a reminder of the immense responsibility we have as educators to shape the future.

Beyond my professional life, I’m a devoted family person. My husband and I are raising a young son, and I cherish the time we spend together. Balancing work and family life can be challenging, but it’s also incredibly fulfilling.

I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve had and the people who have supported me along the way. My journey is far from over, and I’m excited to see what the future holds. As an educator, I’m committed to making a positive impact on the world, one student at a time.

Looking ahead, I believe that education will continue to play a crucial role in shaping our society. The world is changing rapidly, and it’s more important than ever for students to develop the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in a complex and interconnected world. I’m passionate about exploring new ways to innovate in education and ensure that all students have access to quality learning opportunities.

In addition to my work at Little Kingdom, I’m also involved in various community initiatives. I believe that education is a powerful tool for social change, and I’m committed to using my skills and experience to make a difference. I’m particularly interested in promoting STEM education among girls and underrepresented communities.
