Welcome to BUG Voices, our dedicated space where inspiring people share their stories to uplift and empower others. In each guest blog, we bring you the stories by remarkable individuals who have defied the odds and pursued their passions.

I’ve always been a creature of action. The thrill of the deal, the rush of closing a sale, was my lifeblood. Two decades in the trenches of HDFC’s Payment Solutions had honed me into a sales shark. I thrived in the corporate arena, a world of structure, strategy, and a clear path to success.

Yet, a part of me yearned for something more. The caged bird yearning for flight, perhaps. I craved the uncharted territories, the freedom to dream, and the audacity to build. The decision to leap from the corporate ladder into the entrepreneurial abyss was a plunge into the unknown, a gamble with everything I’d built.

PayAid was born out of necessity and desire. A digital world demanded seamless payment solutions. I saw a gap, an opportunity. It was a time of uncertainty, a global pause. But for me, it was a green light. With a team of passionate individuals, we set sail on this uncharted ocean, driven by a shared vision.

Building a startup is akin to raising a child. It requires unwavering dedication, sleepless nights, and an iron will. There are days when doubt creeps in, when the weight of responsibility feels overwhelming. But then there are those moments of triumph, those small victories that fuel the fire within.

The entrepreneurial journey is a rollercoaster. The highs are exhilarating, the lows, soul-crushing. But it’s in these extremes that you discover your true strength. I’ve learned to embrace the chaos, to find order in the storm. And most importantly, I’ve learned the power of resilience.

Being a woman in a male-dominated world comes with its own set of challenges. There’s a constant need to prove yourself, to be louder, to be bolder. But it’s also an opportunity to inspire. To show that women can not only survive but thrive in this arena.

Juggling the roles of CEO and mother is a daily balancing act. There’s guilt, there’s exhaustion, but there’s also immense pride. My daughters are my biggest cheerleaders, their belief in me is unwavering. And I hope I’m instilling in them the same spirit of resilience and ambition.

PayAid is more than a business; it’s a statement. A testament to the power of human ingenuity and the relentless pursuit of dreams. It’s a platform that’s not just changing the way businesses operate, but also challenging the status quo.

The future is uncertain, but one thing is for sure – the journey is just beginning. With every challenge, I grow stronger, with every success, I become more determined. This is my story, and I’m excited to see where it leads.
